Our department uses Power Point 2003 to develop a lot of ppt training
materials and post them in our internal site.
However, if the associate has office 2002 or office 2000 on their PC, they
will get Page can not display error in IE when they click the link to open
the ppt.
When the ppt is save to the local drive, they are able to use their older
version of power point to open the file.
We download the 2003 Power Point Viewer but still get the same error in IE.
We also try to save the ppt in older version or publish to html but which
results bigger file sizes.
Is there any other work around to allow the users with lower version of ppt
to view the ppt 2003 in IE without saving to the local drive?
Thanks.
