I use Word 97 under Windows XP Pro and I recently had an error displayed
when I wanted to run a macro from within a document (not a specific
document), based on a template I created.
The error was "Run-time error '5981': Could not open macro storage" (msgbox
title: "Microsoft Visual Basic".
I have read the appropriate MSKB documents, but they do not *appear* to be
relevant here.
When logged in under a user defined 'administrator' level logon, I do *not*
get the above problem, but only when I am logged in user a (limited) user
level logon.
I'm not sure if this problem has existed since I moved over to Win XP, but
I've not used these templates for some time, so cannot be sure. FWIW, the
problem certainly didn't exist under Windows 98.
Hopefully someone out there has some insight on this problem.
TIA
Rob.
