Got XP installed but

Well I got office XP installed..first removed Office 97 Prof
installed Office XP using another DVD/CD player and software
installed. Removed Office XP reinstalled Office 97 Prof and
tried install over Office 97 Prof...could get that to work. Back
to office 97 Prof but I have forgotten how to get list of office
function displayed on side of screen and listing downward ?.. I
hope someone will inform me.
