Gothic characters

Could someone advise me how to place gothic characters into word documents.
I am writing in English, I just want to use some gothic symbols as
mathematical characters in the document. The charcters I am looking for
aren't available in 'Microsoft Equation 3.0'.

Thanks for that. I have since found a product called MathType that seems to
give me what I want. It is a commercial product but they have a free 30 day
trial.
