GPO to disable File / New task pane in Office 2003

Hi

Is there a GPO setting to disable the task pane that appears when
selecting File/New in Office 2003 apps? For example, when selecting
File/New in Word, user has to click "Templates on my computer..." to
bring up the old templates dialog. I want File/New to bring up that
dialog directly without the task pane in between.

I have tried enabling the setting "Completely disable Template
Taskpane" under Microsoft Office 2003\Tools | Options | General |
Service Options..., but that didn't do it.

Good question but I don't think there is, I too use workgroup templates and
it works great in Office 2K but navigation is spoilt in 2K3. If you find a
fix for this I'd appreciate you letting me know via this thread.
