Hi there. I have created a publisher layout and am trying to convert
it to PDF for printing. I originally printed the doc using the RGB
color space, but the resulting PDF contained "stripes" in each of the
images - it was like each image was composed of multiple horizontal
bands that all together made up the image. These bands were visible
when printed.
So I switched to CMYK output. This has worked, except that the images
containing deep blue skies have become extremely grainy. I have played
around with resolution with no success.
Are either of these problems that anyone has seen before? I am not a
Publisher pro by any means, but I've tried all the combinations I can
think of. I've tried multiple PDF printers as well, so my initial
inclination is that the solution - if any - is to be found in
Publisher.
Thanks very much.
