The checker could be made to detect conjunctions, and to not flag conjoined
words as different parts of speech. An example:
"I would like to call him or her to get the move scheduled."
The grammar checker flagged "her," suggesting that "she" was the appropriate
word. The "Explain" button resulted in the (not very) sage advice that the
"marked pronoun needs to reflect its function in your sentence."
Of course, its function is as an object, and "she" is used for a subject.
In any case, to be consistent, "him" should have been (incorrectly) flagged
for a change to "he," matching the suggested "she."
