Grammer Spell Check

When using the Small Caps function in Word 2000, anytime you accept a change
suggested by the grammer check or spell check, Word automatically makes the
correction all Large Caps. Is there any way to correct this?

Apparently not - until Word 2007.
The only answer seems to be to apply a non small caps style until after you
have spell checked.
