Grand Total in a Query

I have a table with two fields Class Type and Number Of Students.
I have a query that totals the Number of Students by Class but how do I get
a grand total of the Number of Students for all Classes?

I have searched the help blogs but unable to locate a good example.

Put a totalling control in the report footer.

You do this in a report or form footer. If you think you really need it in a
query, you can probably combine multiple queries in a union query to get more
than one level of totals.
