Hi,
I have a form that displays a simple graph using the chart wizard in
Access 2k2.
The very first time the graph is displayed on the screen it flickers and
resizes a couple
of times. Every time a graph is shown after this it works fine.
Although everything functionally works correctly some users find this
annoying.
My theory is that the first time graph.exe is loaded in memory it does extra
work
that causes this to happen. Every time I restart my application this
scenario occurs
so I'm assuming graph.exe (although not in the windows task list all the
time) gets
completely unloaded from memory when it's Access parent task is closed.
Unless anyone has any other ideas, is there a way you can force the
graph.exe
to kick off an load into memory quietly when you start an application?
Thankyou
