Graph reverts to old graph in MSGraph

When using a MSGraph is Word, sometimes if I double click on the chart to
edit it, it reverts to the default chart (with all the default data and
default type) and I lose all my changes. If you copy an existing chart, and
then change it for new data/format etc, the same thing sometimes happens.

Can anyone explain why? Or at least provide a list of what not to do, so I
can avoid this?

Hi =?Utf-8?B?TWFya3kgTWFyaw==?=,

Did you type new values into the MS Graph data sheet? Or did you link it to a
table in the Word document? With which version of Word are you seeing this
problem?

I can't recall having ever encountered anything like what you describe...

I am using Word 2003 (and it's Graph 8.0 I think). The values are typed into
the datasheet - not linked to a table.

It happens relatively frequently with people at my workplace, so it's not
just my computer.
