Graph viewing 30 prior and 30 days in advance from a certain date?????

Hello,

Does anyone know what functions to use to get a graph to display only so
many dates prior to and in advance of a certain date? The only way I can
think how is to use the auto filter. However, my colleague would like to
have a feature, whereby

a) the graph will only display historical date from 30 days ago (and would
like this to be automatic). I have seen a NOW() function but do not know a
way of being able to use this in the graph or table.

b) She would also like to be able to enter a given date into a field and
have this display in the graph, only the data that is 30 prior to and 30
days after this date.

Does anyone know an easy way that does not involve the use of a marco.

The version of excel being used is 97
