Graphic does not show on print

Jorgen

I have made an Intranet site I Frontpage 2003.
When I view a page with a graphic created in Visio 2003 (file.wmf) in my MS
browser 6.0 the graphic looks fine. But when I want to print the page I get
an open space on the page where the print was supposed to be. I have tried
from different PCs.
Where do I look for this problem?
Thanks

it's a browser/ printer issue.
Just convert the image to a more common format such as .gif or .jpg.

Is the browser set to print background images??

Internet Explorer > Tools > Internet Options > Advanced > Printing.
Check the box "Print background colors and images."

Close and reopen the browser, and then try printing again.
We are getting closer. Turning on the Print background colors and images
changes the printout. I can now se the background as a light gray area on the
black and white printer, it is defined as “background: #CCFFFF†in the CSS
(on the screen it is light blue). My graphic shows as white figures in the
gray background.
The graphic is placed on the page by:
<div align="center">
<img border="0"
src="../../images/seats/hovedprocesser/1_120_plastproduktion.wmf" width="518"
height="810">
</div>
It is not a question of the graphic format. I have tested by including the
same graphic as “file.gifâ€, which shows up the same way.

It is a printer issue.
The default printer is a Gestetner 3355 “universal printer, copier etc.â€. It
is known by the people in the house to be full of surprises.
Changing to a HP 3800n solves the problem. Everything prints fien.

..wmf files are not web friendly, and will not display at all in some
browsers. In fact, .wmf may be IE only.

That's GREAT.
Good luck with it.
