My previously posted message "Graphics" problem may be related to the type of file I am using. Besides some of the screen shots I use; which I dump into Paint and cut what I want and recut and paste into Word. I have some scanned files which have been saved as a JPG file. Not only is my graphics keeping to the top of the page, but I have a feeling that these JPG files, may be the cause of my other problem, whereby Word freezes on my. I have put some of these graphic files as Linked to file.

In conclusion, When I put screen shots close to the top of the page, they seem to snap themselves to the very top edge of the page. They won't move, unless it's considerablely way off the top part;
Secondly, I have scanned files, saved as JPG, how should I insert them into my file. Like all, would like to keep my file size down as much as possible, because the pages could go up to 30 pages, and on these pages I have screen shots and scanned files.
Thirdly, Help stop me from freezing and jumping to the very top edge of the page. Cheers.

When you cut the image in your graphics program, paste as new image, and then reinsert the image into your document, don't cut and paste frome your graphic program into your document.
