I have a graphic that prints in world with no fill on the background.
If I copy the graphic to powerpoint (onto blue background), I get a
white box around the graphic. How can I copy the graphic to powerpoint
and have the powerpoint background show. The picture is set at no fill
and order makes no difference.

Try copy and paste special (while in Word) choosing different file formats
for each paste (picture, gif, jpeg... etc). You should get up to eight
copies of your graphic in different formats. One by one, copy and past each
graphic into PowerPoint. With graphic selected in PowerPoint select 'set
transparent color' in the Picture tool bar and click on the graphic's
background. Eventually one graphic should work.

The best solution would be to insert the original graphic file into
PowerPoint using Insert - Picture - From file.

If that is not possible, try to Copy in Word and in PowerPoint Edit - Insert
special as PNG file (PNG, GIF, WMF and EMF will keep transparency).

Which version of PowerPoint do you use? Version 2000 and older will not
support the "alpha channel" transparency of PNG, but only one tranparent
color.

Kind regards,
Ute
