Graphic Indicator

In MS Project there is a "graphic indicator" that allows text to be
graphically represented. e.g. Yes = Green Dot, No= Yellow Dot, Maybe=Yellow
Dot. It would be beneficial in EXCEL to have this ability. I want to use
the grid that EXCEL provides so Charting won't help. I'd like for this
graphic representation to be in just one column of several columns of
important text and numeric content. I can't think of a way to get a graphic
into an IF statement, or is there some other way to do this.

Have you tried clicking on "Insert" in the menu bar, then "Symbol".?

Hi WYPBO41,

A lower case L in Wingdings font displays a solid circle.
and
A lower case n in Wingdings font displays a solid circle.

With Conditional Formating you can set up to three conditions with
different background
and font colors, for coloring them.
