When I link figures into my documents they often don't
stay the same size--i.e., when the document is opened
later, the figure will be smaller/larger/compressed. It's
as if they've automatically reset themselves (or
something).
Some of the figures are .wmf, some are .bmp (with possibly
a few other types). Haven't been able to do any controlled
troubleshooting on the problem, so I don't know whether it
happens most with one type, though I suspect it's the .wmf
files that are giving me the problem. They've been
exported from a drafting program (Solidworks).
What I generally do with the figures: cut off extra space
around the edges and expand size (sometimes decrease).
Comments and suggestions would be appreciated.
