Graphic not crisp looking in Word 2002 sp3

Hi all,
I am creating return labels in Word 2002 sp3 (windows XP)
I have created a jpeg in photoshop at 300dpi with the correct dimensions for
a shipping label.

When i insert it into word the graphic looks and prints blurry.

However i have another machine running windows 2000 with word 2000 SR-1. I
do not get this problem at all. And the image prints just fine!

Any idea why this may be happening? Anyone else experienced this?

thanks
Andy

Hi Andy,

Be sure you're physically storing the 300 Pixel Per Inch
value into the JPEG and that you're saving it with a high
quality setting.

MS changed the graphics engine it uses starting with
Office XP and now throughout Windowx XP to GDI+. That
may be one of the things accounting for the differences you're
seeing in the Word versions.
