graphic save problem

Windows XP when I right click on a graphic or picture to "save as" ...
either in news or mail or online .. the save box that pops up always would
give the actual name and type of graphic to be saved .. such as "dog.jpg"
.... suddenly it wants to save every graphic as "untitled.bmp" and there are
no other options. I have to type in the actual name and type. What could
have changed and how can I undo it?

Never mind ... I found the answer in another newsgroup.

"In IE6, click on Tools, Internet Options. A window will open. Click on the
Delete files button in the middle of the window."

Worked perfectly and solved the problem. Surprised at no responses from
here.
