Graphical indicator in legend help

Steve

I'm using number1 for Graphical indicators. 1 equals red ball, 2 equals
yellow ball, etc... The how's and why's work are working fine.

I need to show in the legend each of the balls (red, yellow, etc...) with a
label of it's meaning. I.E., red ball graphic - "Over Due".

Are the Graphical indicators coming from a standard font style that can be
used to insert them in the legend as a simple text statement? Or how do you
get the ball to appear on the legend so I can add the statement?

Try creating a value list with 1, 2 etc as the value, and over due as the
description. Also set the graphical indicators as you already have.
This then shows the value/description combination when you select the value

I am not trying to do anything interactive or fancy, what I'm trying to do is
simply print the project and in the legend area show a graphic ball with a
title/label/text so the reader know the meaning of the ball when viewing the
tasks. It would be nice if it filled in with the rest of the legend info
like task, summarys, deadline, etc.. I would just as happy type it in
manually in the preview setup legend tab.

First you need to find the graphic ball as a picture file - .bmp/jpeg etc.
Then on page setup>legend> use the insert picture icon (yellow square with an
arrow) and navigate to your picture file then Insert. You can type alongside
it. I have not found the graphics yet but will keep looking, and know it
works with other .bmp files

Hope this helps

That's what I did. Copied it over to PowerPoint and made bmp's. Then
inserted them as files with labels.

Thanks
