Graphical representation of Booking Dates

I have written a small database project in Access 2000 with tables and forms
for booking dates for a freind who has four holiday homes. the tables store
the data for each of the houses and the details of clients making bookings
and a transactions table between the two containing IDs of both parties and
the start and finish dates of the bookings. I'm trying to graphicaly show the
bookings on a dated grid that shows current bookings so that it is easy to
see when a house is available to book. does anyone know of a similar routine
that can help me get started and populate the grid. Many thanks in advance
