Graphics disappear in Word 2003 SP2

We recently upgraded to SP2 and now graphics disappear if we switch from
Print Layout view to Normal view and then back to Print Layout view. I have
all the correct options set, and the graphic position is set to "In line with
Text" as per another post on this site. I increased the monitor refresh rate
but nothing works. The only thing that does work is if we proxy the problem
machine(s), switch views from Print Layout to Normal and then back again.
That fixes it, but this makes no sense to me. Thank you for your help.

Try reducing Hardware Accelleration:
(Control Panel>Display>Settings>Advanced>Troubleshoot Tab).

If that improves the situation it stongly suggests that your video drivers
need to be updated.
