Graphics does not display in microsof power point 2000

we got a power point file from email, when we open the file, all the images
in the presentation are disappear can it show red X marked. the file can open
without any problem using microsoft office 2003. for your information we
using micosoft office 2000 premium.
I think the problem may be is compability problem. Can you give me the
solution for this problem. i already update microsoft office 2000 to service
pack 3 and also i install compability pack to my system. But i still have
same problem.
Can you help me to solve this problem?
