Graphics embedded into Word 2000, XP and 2003 documents are "flipp

Hi,

When I open any documents created in previous versions on Microsoft Office,
the images appear "flipped". This happens from any Excel and Word documents
tried from previous versions of Office.

I know that there is the following KB article for 2003:
http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=312838 "Pictures in Earlier Office
Documents Appear Flipped", but I can find nothing for Office 2007.

You could try the registry edit, except for the key location in

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\10.0\Common
or
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\11.0\Common
use this
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\12.0\Common
instead

Thanks Bob,

I see what you've done in the "Registry Edit", but where would I edit the
locations? I have the below registry entires because of previous locations,
but which would I edit to un-flip the images? Surely the problem is in the
encoding of the document which contains the image?

I would follow the instructions in the article referenced in the link
for the 2003 version BUT look for 12.0 instead of 11.0 when looking for
the key location.
