Graphics from Powerpoint to Word

Bethany

I am trying to make a Christmas letter for my family and
found this awesome graphic on a powerpoint slide that I
have. I want to edit the picture so that I can type over
the background and it looks like my letter. I have a
problem where I copy the picture from the Powerpoint
presentation and paste it to Word or Paint. The problem
that I am having is that the picture comes out distorted
and very dark. Please help! I'm running out of time!!!

Hi Bethany,
There are many other programs such as Adobe Photoshop,
Adobe Elements, and a lot of other programs that could
help you in your letter. The quick and easier way is:
1. Right Click the picture and save as (___.jpg)
2. Use Paint to open the file.
3. Very carefully erase unwanted parts of the graphic.
4. You can use the "Pick Color" button to click on the
image for the exact color that you want.
5. Next you should save that file and go to Word.
6. In a new Word document click on background in the
format menu and insert your picture.
7. Type away. Hopefully I have helped you out.
