Graphics importing problem.

I've recently been unable to import graphic images using the clipboard in
anything but the iconic placeholder - which isn't very useful in formatting
a document. I'm sure there must be a setting to allow the display of the
complete graphic.

Can someone please let me know what to do?

From the menu bar select Tools | Options | View tab: un-tick Picture
placeholders
