Graphics in email only have an X

I dont know why but all the graphics in my emails are represented by an X. I
have the settings to download graphics but for some reason ever since I went
from office 2003 to the new office2007 beta 2 The graphics are just an X.
does anyone know how to fix this or what could be wrong.
