graphics in layers

Well...never having used layers I seem to have a prob or two. I added a
layer in which I wanted to mouse over a graphic and it would change to
anohter graphic and then back to the original on mouseout. Well, I got it to
change on m ouse over but it would not change back to the original image on
mouse out. I would like to know how to accomplish that for one, but weird
thing is, I deleted the layer and wanted to start over, and now the swap is
still happening?? I resaved the page but it is still swapping...the layer is
gone!

I guess I corrected my problem by going to the code and deleting the portion
of the code that instructed the mouseover event. However, I still don't
understand why deleting the layer didn't take care of this...
hmmm
