Graphics in web not showing erratically

I have built an in-house website with FrontPage XP that when it was posted
on one of the computers on our LAN worked fine and all the gifs & jpg's
showed properly. Our IT guy moved the website to an in-house server
assigning it an IP address and using a host file entry made a URL name. On
the web server on my computer older Compaq running XP Pro SPA some of the
graphics will only show a red x. When I right click and check properties it
does show the address for the graphic but the graphic won't show up. If I
refresh the browser the graphics that didn't show will show and other ones
that did show before now won't show. Every time I refresh a couple of
different graphics will not show, including graphics in the FrontPage
linkbars. Any idea's would be appreciated.

you may have been moved to a server that's not a legitimate "production"
server. some servers only allow a certain number of simultaneous
connections.
