Graphics issues in Powerpoint 2008 after SP1 upgrade

I commonly open files created with Powerpoint 2003 (Windows) in Powerpoint
2008 and up to now have not experienced any problems. However, after
upgrading to SP1 many of the objects/images do not display properly. In
particular there seems to be problems with images that originally had OLE
links in Windows. Keynote can intepret these images better than Powerpoint
2008 with SP1!

Any help to resolve this issue would be most appreciated.

Hello, can you give me exact repro steps on how these objects were created in PPT 2003 so I can create a file from scratch and try and repro?

Thanks

Hi Phil,

There are two issues identified so far (comparing PPT 2008 12.01 with 12.1)

1. Copy and paste images from Adobe Acrobat into PPT 2003 (image resolution
degraded)
2. Copy OLE objects from Graphpad Prism 4 to PPT2003.

Can I send you a PPT file (900KB) to help identify the problem? Its too
large to be sent to the newsgroup.

Thanks,

Ray
