Graphics jump out of place

Occasionally, I find that I cannot successfully place a graphic into a Word
document. In this case, it is my signature for letters. When I attempt to
place it, it jumps to another part of the page. I have tried the text
wrapping at behind and through (advanced). The allow overlap is on. I have
saved the graphic as a Windows meta, gif, jpeg, to no avail. The oddest part
is that this is not consistent; sometimes a graphic will cooperate and not be
a problem in another document. HELP!!!

It will be easier to place the graphic if you insert it In Line With Text.

Suzanne:
Your solution doesn't deal with the problem that I need to solve. The
problem is to have my signature graphic, closing, printed name, and title in
the appropriate place for a business letter.

Your suggestion to use In Line With Text allows me to place the graphic.
But, it doesn't come close to meeting the desired (required) layout.

Any other suggestions?

Thanks,
John

Why not? You have a paragraph for the closing, a paragraph for the
signature, a paragraph for the printed name and title below it. If the
graphic requires cropping to display properly, do this in a graphics app.

I appreciate your help. But, it doesn't solve the problem. I will continue
looking.

Thanks,
John

Perhaps you can describe more fully what you are trying to accomplish and in
what way this solution doesn't work?
