Graphics Problem???

I am embedding 300 dpi graphics into word documents. When printing in
Word 2003 there is a light gray shading under the space where the
graphic is. Is there a reason for this? Is there a way that I can
stop it from happening? I can print the same documents on the same
printer using Word 97 and there is no shading.

Help me please ??
