Graphics Problems

I publish a newsletter in black and white some 30 plus pages long. I use
quite a few photos. My computer monitor shows horizontal blanks in the
photos as I scroll through the document but not in the same repeatable area
of the photos as I scroll up and down. The document prints correctly but it
is certainly disconcerting to work with this condition. I just replaced the
graphics board but that didn't help. Any ideas? Thanks.

This is a known problem that, AFAIK, has no solution. It seems to be
especially pronounced with TIFFs.
