Graphics resize error in Word 2003

Rudi

I am fighting with the problem that a graphic, created in the word graphics
editor, is shown (and printed) zoomed, i.e. shown only partially within the
graphic objects boundaries.
This is not the case for Word 2000 or Word 2007 on the same PC.
How can I control the display ? How can I test and get the cause for the
malfunction? Reinstallation does not help.
This behavior is only valid on this PC, on others PCs it displays fine, with
the same files.

?????

Does anybody know the answer?

Not sure but on the offending PC, look under Tools, Options, General, and
deselect the 2 options for Word Perfect. I seem to remember that these can
sometimes interfere with graphics as well as other functions.
Hope this helps.

Thank you DeanH, for giving hope. Nevertheless, under tools/options/general
there are no WordPerfect options. Disabling all options including
WordPerfect ones under tools/options/compatability does not help.

Do you have another idea?

Doh! I was hoping that might help, nevermind. I cannot recreate your problem,
any cropping of view stays fine on several machines and I cannot find a
setting that is different. Sorry.
I don't use Word Graphics Editor generally, I tend to use PowerPoint and
Link (Insert, Field) the image, which then you can Crop to the select the
area you wish to show.
Not that I use link for many of my images because my documents tend to be
sent to external companies, so I embed them as jpg, png, etc.

Sorry I cannot help with your problem, if you do solve it, please repost for
our knowledge.
Best of luck.
