Good day,
I am using Office 2003 (Word, Outlook mainly).
I am trying to create a template for an e-mail newsletter that my
organization uses. The idea is that I click on the template, fill it out with
the latest content, then e-mail it out to folks on a mailing list.
I went ahead and created a Word template (.dot). The plan was to use that
and save every issue under a different word file, and I would use the e-mail
function built into Word to distribute the newsletter.
The weirdest thing is that the graphics (3 gifs/pngs) do not stay aligned
whenever I e-mail them. I try e-mailing myself or to other people with
different e-mail clients (or some form of webmail like Gmail). Every time,
those logos are misaligned.
However, when I view the graphics alignment in Word, or while composing the
e-mail (in Word or Outlook), it looks fine. The alignment also stays intact
when I convert the file into a PDF or print hardcopies.
Some help on this issue would be really appreciated, thanks.
I also thought of pasting the entire newletter as an image in an Outlook
e-mail. I've also tried using custom signatures (where you use a file as a
template)/stationery in Outlook, but neither method embeds images/graphics or
looks as good.
