I know that Office has the equation editor for mathematical work, but is
there any way to do mathematical graphing with Excel, Microsoft graphŠ
whatever? For example, "y=2x+5," or number lines, etc. Is there a "math pak"
for download? This would strongly improve my Office experience.

I am using Office 10.1.3 and will always install updates.

Hi

Certain graph types (line graphs, for example) let you add a trend line. In
the "Add Trend Line" dialog there is an option to check so that Excel will
display the equation of the trend line.

I don't think there's a way to simply type and equation then graph it the
same way that you would in a graphic calculator, but that would make a great
feature request.

Feature requests should be made to Microsoft using the Feedback feature on
Office X help menu or send to:

Try Stephen Bullen's Excel Page http://www.bmsltd.co.uk/excel in the
Charting Examples section, file ChtFrmla.zip.
