In my old Word program, I had a kitten "office assistant" instead of the
paper clip. I have just purchased Windows 7 and a new computer. Where and
how can I find the kitty cat in Word?

You didn't say which version of Office came with your computer, but it's
probably 2007. Maybe just a trial version.

Anyway, the kitty is gone for good.

Whether it's a trial version or not is irrelevant; there are no Office
Assistants in Office 2007.
