Gray area to right of Taskpad in Calendar

R

Roshan Q

A user has gotten her Calendar view to the following state:

• The Folder List is on the left
• To its right is the user's Calendar (Day View, Week View, doesn't matter)
• To the Calendar's right is the Taskpad.
• To the right of the Taskpad is a gray area (like the background you would
see in Word or Excel if the document window is in Restore mode).

There are vertical bars between each of these 4 areas, and the bars can be
moved horizontally. However, the bar between the Taskpad and the gray area
cannot be moved all the way to the right edge of the window to eliminate the
gray area; it can only go to within about an inch of the right edge of the
window.

How do I eliminate this gray area?

Confirmed. The Reading Pane (Outlook 2003)/Preview Pane (previous versions)
shows as a gray area unless an appointment is selected -- then it shows the
contents of the appointment.

Thank you for the help!

you're welcome - I only knew because someone had same problem a while ago
and it took ages to work out what it was!!

If you state your version - I can use the exact terminology too! Reading vs
Preview. Please state your version whenever you have a question.
