Greater visibility for Help Icon 2007

A

Alex Gordin

One thing that I noticed consistently on the ribbon in Office 2007 is that
help seems to be reduced to a little question mark icon on the upper right
hand of the screen. This is fine if you know what to look for, but I'd
venture to say that a lot of users (the non-power user ones) familiar with
older versions of most software from the last two decades will attempt to
look for the help menu not there, but amidst the rest of the ribbon titles
(thinking it's like the old toolbar), and not bother to look waay to the
right for a blue question mark icon that on the default color scheme (blue)
has a very low visibility and is very tiny.

I'd suggest doing something about this, or actually putting the word "help"
next to it. I'd hate to see what would happen if users can't even figure out
how to get to the help feature.
