Greek workbooks from PC

I have been sent some Workbooks written on a Greek PC in Excel 2003 and
saved in various formats.

I have tried opening them on my Powerbook in OSX 10.4 using Excel v X.

None of the Greek text displays and I can't enter any Greek characters
even when the Greek Mac Keyboard is activated.

I can open up the Unicode saved version in TextEdit and all text
displays correctly but there is no way of copying the Greek text into
my version of Excel.

What can I do to help me work on and return the amended spreadsheets
for further work on the Greek PC?

There's no Unicode support in Office v.X. You'll have to upgrade to Office
2004 to find Unicode support and most probably open your Greek files. You
can download the Office 2004 Test Drive from Mactopia to make sure:
