Grey area in word document unable to delete for fix

I have grey area that shows up in my word document on the right hand side I
am uable to delete it. It changes the size of my document when printing it
out to 85% I have tryed everything to fix this. HELP!!

If this is Word 2002 or above, do you have Track Changes enabled? Does the
document contain markup (tracked changes or comments)?
