Grey bars on all documents

I recently opened Word and all of a sudden each corner of the page has these
grey bars that are like inverted right triangle. I don't know how they
appeared or how to get rid of them. Can someone please advise.

I tried to demostrate what they look like (imagine the I's are a straight
line):
