Grey lines under Titles in Outline View

Why do some of my slide titles have grey squiggly (sp?) lines under the
titles? How do I get rid of them?

Can you give a better description eg are they similar to spellcheck squiggles
or more like a drop shadow?

Is it possible that in format font you have shadow checked? (may be on the
slide master)

Did that answer the question / help?

It just means the bullets in outline view are collapsed. Just click on the
icon to expand and make the gray line disappear.

Yes, I'd love to turn this feature off too. Is it possible?

It makes collapsed headings harder to read, looks messy. I already know the
a heading isn't fully expanded if I see sub-headings with the 'plus' button
to its left that aren't themselves expanded.

A less messy way to show this would be nice, perhaps by changing the color
of the plus button to the left of the header?
