Grid Lines and Regular Paper Lines

Is there a way to make the grid lines on the notebook pages black so they
will print (Show up when printed) Right now they are light blue and dont
print when you print the note page.

Unfortunately the grid lines don't print.

What you could do is get an image of the grid lines, perhaps by screen
capturing a full-screen image of them, then paste that image onto a blank
OneNote page and set that image to be in the background. I suppose that
would work, though it is sort of a kludge.

Just quickly tried that and it seems that will work...thanks for the good
info and replying so fast!

Glad we found a solution for you! Printing grid lines is a somewhat popular
feature request. Might make it into the next version.

Chuck,
I'm a fifth grade teacher looking for ways to use OneNote2007 and
Outlook2007 in ways that save time and increase my ability to track schedules
and progress on state standards/benchmarks. Any good sources or discussion
places to pursue this?

I'd create grid images of various sizes as jpeg's and place them in your ON
pages as needed. Perhaps some of the full-page pdfs available around the web
for math work could be made into a OneNote template above which you'd write
your material.

Pdf Annotator allows some interesting ways to create handwriting "on" a pdf.

I can confirm this.
Due to the limitations in ON I gave up the concept of gathering PDFs in
ON and use Acrobat's Organizer instead + PDF annotator, which is a
really great tool.
