Groove 2007 fails to download a workspace

We installes Groove 2007 on two machines within the same city. One Computer
is running Win Vista, the other XP Pro SP3.

All worked fine for 2 Month. Then the contacts appeared offline when they
where online and the workspace failed to synchronize. However, it was still
possible to send messages from one contact to the other.

The harddrive of the Win XP machine was formatted and all software was
reinstalled. The account info saved previously was reinstalled. The problem
cited above persisted.

According to kb917191, we deleted the contacts and re-imported them from a
message sent. The problem still persists:
- contacts appear offline when they where online
- we can send messages from one to another and vice versa
- The workspace is waiting for download, 0% completed (since two days)

Whats wrong??
