Hello,

sorry there is no special Groove Newsgroup, so I post my request to this
Newsgroup.
Is it possible to restrict to Groove 2007 tools to use only the SharePoint
Integration Tool? Our customer do not want to grand rights to chess, discuss
etc.
Thanks a lot for your support.

Regards,
Jens

Yes - you can delete the other tools (discussion, etc) that you don't need
from the workspace. Right-click on the tool tab (name) and select delete
(presuming you have the permission in your role).

Hallo,

can i delete this automatically e.g. via group policies?

The deletion of the tool from the workspace is (best) done during the
creation of the workspace and before inviting new members to the space.
The 'group policy' you mentioned is for identity/account management with
your AD (Active Directory) using the Groove Mgmnt Server - which is a
different thing.

So, delete the tools from the Standard Workspace before inviting new members.
(That's how I would do it).

Hi Jens,

The Groove management server, or Groove Enterprise Services allow you to
set policies for identities and devices.

This includes options to restrict the use of most Groove tools.

Hope this answers your question :)

Best regards,

Jan
