Groove account backup won't restore

I backed up my groove account info a couple of months ago. Now I had to
rebuild my machine and expected to be able to restore from my backup. Naive
me. I get a message that the backup is too old. What's the deal?

I have found more info on this. Apparently I need
Office-kb935874-fullfile-x86-glb.exe but can only get it by paying MS for a
support call. Does anyone have this hotfix?

As I understand the procedure, if the hotfix resolves the problem for the
support call, the charge is waived. Be sure to say that you are calling
because you can't restore from an old account backup, say you need hotfix KB
, and don't introduce other support problems.

.... while I was looking up the hotfix number. Apparently, they are orgainized
by KB number. Ask for the hotfix from KB935874.
