Groove Beta: Calendar: Adding an Appointment: Time earlier than 8

JRS818

Whenever I add a new appointment and set the time using the up/down chevron
buttons for the Start & End times AND click on the DOWN chevron to make the
time earlier than 8:00 AM my Groove freezes.

I have also received the following error message:

HRESULT: 0x80070057
Process: GROOVE.EXE (ID: 3912 (0x00000f48))
Thread ID: 3200 (0x00000c80)

Has anyone else had this problem, and does anyone have a fix?

Hi JRS818,

I have tested this issue in Groove 2007 Beta 2. If I created a new
appointment in Celander, I found I could not change the time before 8:00AM.
It seems that this is by-design in Groove 2007 Beta2.

However, I could not repro the error message you got. From the error message
and based on my experience, this error message may be caused by the following
reasons:

1. the specific workspace is somewhat corrupt.
2. the Groove on your computer is corrupt.

Therefore, I would like to suggest you can create a new workspace and test
this issue in the workspace to see whether this issue persists in the new
workspace.

If this error message does not happen in the new workspace, it means the old
workspace is corrupt.

If this error also happens in the new workspace, please reinstall the Groove
2007 Beta2. Test this issue agian.

Let me know the results.

Thank you.

Dear Sara,

Thank you very much for the detailed procedure:

I created a new Workspace, but still get the same error message when I try
to set an appointment earlier than 8am (must be nice to have a job where you
do not have appointments earlier than 8am!).

After downloading the Groove Beta again (in case my first download was
somehow corrupted), I shall reinstall and try again.

Will let you know the result.

Regards,

James
