"Groove critical Error" in reinstall of 2007 beta

I installed the TR2 for Groove 2007 beta, then had problems and uninstalled.
I have uninstalled office 2007 beta, Groove 2007 beta and reinstalled
everything multiple times. My office 2007 works fine, but when I reinstall
groove 2007 beta and I try to run it, I get a "Groove Critical Error" that
reads

"Launching Groove failed because your groove account has been upgraded,
Please reinstall the latest version"

I am not worried about saving any of my workspaces, I would just like to
start fresh, anybody have any ideas??

Thanks,
Steph

According to the error "Launching Groove failed because your groove account
has been upgraded, Please reinstall the latest version", we can be sure that
the issue is related to the Groove account settings on the computer.

Run "grooveclean.exe -all" to remove all the Groove related data and then
reinstall Groove to see if Groove works fine.
--------------------------------
1. Restart the computer and don't start the Groove program. Search for the
file Grooveclean.exe and records its path.
2. Click Start, click Run, type cmd in the Open field, and then click OK.
3. In the Command Prompt window, switch to the grooveclean.exe's folder
for example:
cd \program files\groove networks\groove\bin
4. Press the ENTER key.
5. Type in this command:
Grooveclean -all
6. Press the ENTER key.
7. Close the Command Prompt window and test the issue again.

Before we go any further, please make sure that you install the Office 2007
and Groove 2007 "balanced", not install any Technical Refresh on one product
before you
have all on "the same level"

- Uninstall Office 2007 Beta
- Install office 2007 Beta
- Install Groove Beta
- Install Office 2007 Technical Refresh
- Install Groove 2007 Technical Refresh

Don't install Office 2007 TR before you install Groove Beta.

After you reinstall Groove 2007 TR, are you still getting the error about
"launching Groove failed because your groove account has been upgraded"?
