Groove error: Attempting to lock a semaphore

S

Sandholt

Often, but not allways, I get a Groove error message when I try to open a
document in a workspace. The error is: "Attempting to lock a semaphore for
write that is currently locked for read."

How to fix the error?

Kind regards

Sandholt

Hello,
The error message you are receving is too generic in nature to give you a
reliable answer. There are several issues related to Groove that would
generate this message. If you are able to submit a support case for this
issue, an engineer will then ask you for some Groove files so our development
team could review the error.

Sorry I couldn't be of any more assistance.

What version of Groove are you working in? If this is 3.1, then the error is
related to a corrupted worksapce or a corrupted account.

I am using Groove 2007 but some of the workspaces are 3.1.

The messag I got last time I tried was:

Groove-error
Attempting to lock a semaphore for write that is currendy locked for read.
HRESULT: 0x80004005
Process: GROOVE.EXE OD: 3272 (Ox00000ccS))
